For some time, the Citizens of Salisbury have made it clear the City's crime stopping efforts should be its top priority. We entirely agree. And, because we wish Salisburians not merely to be safe but to feel safe in their homes, we are making this joint announcement to explain the status of Salisbury's Law Enforcement leadership.

In accordance with §SC2-4 of the Salisbury City Charter, a majority of the City Council have called for a Special Meeting to be held on Monday, December 21, 2009, at 4:15 p.m. for consideration of the following:  1) Ordinance No. 2093 – 2^nd reading (reallocation of General Obligation Bond proceeds; 2) a Resolution setting the terms of the General Obligation Bond; 3) Ordinance No. 2094 – 2^nd reading ( amending FY10 Sewer Fund Budget); and 4) Award of Bids.

Home Conversion grants are still available for homebuyers purchasing a home within the city limits of Salisbury.
