The Office of the City Clerk is located in Room 305 of the City/County Office Building. The City Clerk is the custodian of the City Seal and the legal records of the City of Salisbury; maintains and records all ordinances and resolutions enacted by the City Council; prepares and maintains minutes of City Council meetings and work sessions; and serves as administrative support to the City Council. The City Clerk also serves as the liaison to the City Board of Supervisors of Elections & Wicomico County Board of Elections.

The Records Administrator/Assistant City Clerk is co-located in the same office area. The Records Administrator is responsible for records retention within the different departments of the City of Salisbury, maintains City’s website and also functions as the Assistant City Clerk when the City Clerk is out of the office.
