Water & Sewer Services

The City of Salisbury provides water and sewer service through two water plants, two overhead storage tanks, over 300 miles of water and sewer mains, two major pump stations, 37 lift stations,  and a waste water treatment plant.  Our system is described in this and accompanying web pages.

Wastewater Treatment Plant Effluent Flow History.

The City’s wastewater treatment plant is authorized by the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit to discharge a maximum of an average flow of 6.8 million gallons per day.
