RESOLUTION NO. 1262


 

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SALISBURY APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE CITY’S CONTINGENCY TO THE CITY COUNCIL’S ADVERTISING BUDGET.



            WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council may allocate funds to the various offices, departments or agencies of the City of Salisbury from the City Contingency Fund pursuant to §SC7-28(B) of the Charter; and


            WHEREAS, additional funding of $2,400 is required in the advertising budget of the City Council to cover expenses associated with the required publication of Charter amendments;


            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby approve the following transfer from the City’s Contingency Fund:


            1.         Decrease Account #90500-559500 (City Contingency) by $2,400; and

 

            2.         Increase Account #11000-555501 (City Council - Advertising) by $2,400.


            THE ABOVE RESOLUTION was introduced and duly passed at a meeting of the Council of the City of Salisbury, Maryland held on _____________, 2005 and is to become effective immediately upon adoption.
