RESOLUTION NO. 1265

 

A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SALISBURY, MARYLAND ACCEPTING A BENCH FROM THE FAMILY OF ANNE STAUFFER FOR INSTALLATION ALONG THE SALISBURY URBAN GREENWAY.

 

 

WHEREAS,   Anne Stauffer provided valuable service to the City of Salisbury through her volunteer work with the Salisbury Zoo Docents and the Recycling Task Force;

 

WHEREAS,   the family of Anne Stauffer wishes to donate a 72” redwood bench, valued at $ 1,400, for installation along the Salisbury Urban Greenway;

 

WHEREAS,   the bench will have a plaque honoring the memory of Anne Stauffer;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Salisbury, Maryland does hereby accept the donation of a bench from the family of Anne Stauffer for installation along the Salisbury Urban Greenway.

 

THE ABOVE RESOLUTION was introduced and duly passed at a meeting of the Council of the City of Salisbury, Maryland held on ________________, 2005 and is to become effective immediately upon adoption.
