RESOLUTION NO. 1329

 

            A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SALISBURY, MARYLAND, APPROVING A TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE CITY’S CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT TO SUPPLEMENT FUNDING OF THE DEPARTMENT OF NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES AND CODE COMPLIANCE

 

            WHEREAS, the City of Salisbury has created two new departments from the existing Building, Housing and Zoning Department, effective January 1, 2006, and

 

            WHEREAS, additional appropriation will be required to supplement the available funds for startup personnel and vehicles for the Department of Neighborhood Services and Code Compliance,

 

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salisbury City Council approves the transferring  $69,487 to the new Department of Neighborhood Services and Code Compliance from the City’s Contingency Fund as follows:

The above Resolution was introduced and read and passed at the regular meeting of the council of the City of Salisbury held on this 28th day of November, 2005.
