Resolution No.1345

A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SALISBURY TO ELIMINATE A PARKING RESTRICTION ON THE NORTH SIDE OF WEST WILLIAM STREET IN SALISBURY, MARYLAND.

WHEREAS, a No Parking Loading Zone exists on the north side of West William Street adjacent to Bethesda United Methodist Church;

WHEREAS, the need for this No Parking Loading Zone to load and unload passengers from vehicles was eliminated by the passage of Resolution No. 1156 which permits parking during services adjacent to the Church on North Division Street;

WHEREAS, the elimination of this No Parking Loading Zone will provide more parking immediately adjacent to the Church and further enhance pedestrian safety.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SALISBURY, MARYLAND that this No Parking Loading Zone on the north side of West William Street be eliminated.

THIS RESOLUTION was duly passed at a meeting of the Council of the City of Salisbury held on ___________________, 2006, and is to become effective immediately upon adoption.
