PAC 14 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Description: This board shall assist in the development of the PAC 14 cable television channel, and in promoting its use and viewership.

BOARD OF ELECTIONS SUPERVISORS
Description: This board shall hear appeals from decisions of the Election Administration concerning voter eligibility.

BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
Description: This board shall hear applications for special exceptions to the Zoning Code; appeals of rulings of the Building, Housing and Zoning director; and applications for nonconforming structures.

BUILDING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS AND APPEALS
Description: This board shall hear appeals of building code enforcement, regulation, and interpretation of the code’s provisions.

CENTRAL CITY DISTRICT COMMISSION
Description: This commission shall advise the Mayor and Council on Central Business District matters pertaining to parking, bond financing, property acquisition, special tax district rates, and the general betterment of the area.

CITY PARK COMMITTEE
Description: The committee will provide advice to the Mayor and City Council on the current needs and future development of the City Park. The committee will also be responsible for accepting donations on behalf of the City for park improvement projects.
Meeting Schedule: 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.

ETHICS COMMISSION
Description: This commission shall devise and review disclosure forms, provide published advisory opinions, and make determinations as to complaints alleging violations of the ethics ordinance.

FRIENDS OF POPLAR HILL MANSION
Description: Board of Directors who supervises the Mansion, oversee fundraising efforts, operation of the facility and advise the Mayor and City on matters pertaining to the Mansion.

Poplar Hill Mansion

HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION
Description: This commission shall review any application to build, alter, or destroy any structure within the historic district in order to minimize bureaucratic regulations, and act as an advisory council to encourage the enhancement of the historic district.

HOUSING BOARD - ADJUSTMENTS AND APPEALS
Description: This board shall hear appeals of housing code enforcement, regulation, and interpretation of the code’s provisions.

MARINA COMMITTEE
Description: Created for the purpose of consultations on construction, security, promotion, parking, landscaping, dockmaster’s duties, fee structures for services rendered at the facility and general marina operation.

MAYOR’S COUNCIL IN SUPPORT OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
Description: This commission advises the Mayor and Council regarding issues of handicapped access to facilities, jobs, and compliance with ADA regulations.

PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION
Description: This joint city/county commission reviews changes and interprets the zoning code, reviews and approves development where required by charter, makes recommendations to Council & Board of Zoning Appeals.

RECYCLING COMMITTEE
Meeting Schedule: 1st Friday of the month at 1:00 p.m.

TRAFFIC AND SAFETY ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Description: This committee shall provide advice to the Mayor and City Council on changes needed in the City’s transportation network to improve vehicular and pedestrian safety and the efficiency of traffic movement.
Meeting Schedule: 3rd Monday of every month at 5:30 p.m.

ZOO COMMISSION
Description: This commission acts as an advisory committee to assure a balanced program of education, conservation, and recreation for the Delmarva Peninsula. The Zoo shall be maintained, operated, and designed for certification by USDA and accreditation by AZA.
