Ordinance No. 1923
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SALISBURY AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2005 EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES FUND BUDGET TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR PAYMENT OF AMBULANCE BILLING SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the City has issued a public bid for ambulance services, and;
WHEREAS, the City has selected a vendor to administer the City’s ambulance billing, and;
WHEREAS, the City is required to pay the vendor according to a percentage of funds collected for the period January 1 to June 30, 2005,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SALISBURY, MARYLAND that the City’s Fiscal Year 2005 Emergency Medical Services Fund be, and is hereby, amended as follows:
1) Add to the Fiscal Year 2005 ALS Calls revenue account (60500-433221) the sum of Thirty Five Thousand Dollars ($35,000).
2) Add to the Fiscal Year 2005 BLS Calls revenue account (60500-433221) the sum of Thirty Five Thousand Dollars ($35,000).
3) Add to the Fiscal Year 2005 Ambulance Billing expense account (27070-513069) the sum of Seventy Thousand Dollars ($70,000).
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this ordinance shall take effect from and after the date of its final passage.
THIS ORDINANCE was introduced and read at a meeting of the Council of the City of Salisbury held on the ____________day of ___________________, 2005, and thereafter, a statement of the substance of the Ordinance having been published as required by law, was finally passed by the Council on the ______day of ____________________, 2005.
