Ordinance No. 1940

 

 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SALISBURY, MARYLAND AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2005 EMS FUND BUDGET TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE RENOVATION AND ADDITION TO FIRE STATION #1.

 

 

            WHEREAS, the City of Salisbury intends to renovate the existing facility and construct an addition to Fire Station #1; and

 

            WHEREAS, the City requires additional funding from other sources to supplement funding already allocated for this project; and

 

            WHEREAS, the EMS fund has a sufficient unrestricted fund balance to cover this expenditure; and

 

            NOW, THEREFORE IT BE ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Salisbury that the City’s Fiscal Year 2005 EMS Fund Budget be, and is hereby amended as follows:

 

1.)    Add to the Fiscal Year 2005 Revenue Account #60500-469810 (Current Surplus Available) the sum of One Hundred Ninety-four Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($194,750).

 

2.)    Add to the Fiscal Year 2005 EMS Fund Expense Account #91090-599109 (Transfer to Capital Projects Account ) the sum of One Hundred Ninety-four Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($194,750).

 

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that this ordinance shall take effect from and

after the date of its final passage.

 

            THIS ORDINANCE was introduced and read at a meeting of the Council of the City of Salisbury, Maryland held on the ­___ day of May 2005, a statement of the substance of the ordinance having been published as required by law, was finally passed by the Council on the ___ day of May 2005.
