Purpose.   To provide information on the development process within the City of Salisbury to developers, consulting firms, businesses, property owners, and interested citizens.             

  Specific development information is:

           
  • Proposed changes to the Developer Reimbursement Policy.    The Mayor and City Council are reviewing the current City policy on revising reimbursements to developers for over-sizing public infrastructure.  The current City policy in developer reimbursement can be reviewed at the link in the next paragraph.

  • Development Process Action Team.  A joint business and city government multi-discipline team will evaluate and provide recommendations on the development process to streamline and expedite plan approvals no later than October 15, 2001. The team’s focus and intent is to:  make the process more customer friendly, lower the cost of development in order to attract investment in the City, protect infrastructure while maintaining quality of life, and achieve development while maintaining compliance with regulatory directives and laws.
