Introduction. The City of Salisbury provides water and sewer service through two water plants, two overhead storage tanks, over 300 miles of water and sewer mains, two major pump stations, 37 lift stations, and a waste water treatment plant. Our system is described in this and accompanying web pages.
Water Quality. To review our annual water quality reports, please refer to our Water Quality web pages. Water and Sewer Rates. A water and sewer rate comparison of the City's rates with other local municipalities is provided at the Rate Comparison web page. Wastewater Treatment Plant Preliminary Engineering Report. These PDF files are large individually, so they have been broken up in segments.
Wastewater Treatment Plant Final Corrective Action Plan. This PDF file is over 12 Megabytes, so downloading may be slow. Wastewater Treatment Plant Effluent Flow History. The City's wastewater treatment plant is authorized by the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit to discharge a maximum of an average flow of 6.8 million gallons per day.

If you have any questions concerning drinking water and sewer service contact the City of Salisbury, Water & Sewer Branch location at (410) 548-3103 from Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM. Please do NOT call the City Yard regarding water bills; please call the Finance Office at 410-548-3115

The following information must be included on the water and sewer application. Please type or print clearly. 1) Requested Date of Service 2) Application Date 3) In the blank following "for water and sewer to my..." a) Type of building i.e.: industrial, commercial, residential 4) Located Inside or Outside of City Limits 5) Correct Address for location of service 6) Which lies between, show the nearest streets that the property is located between. 7) Name of Plumber (if known) 8) Property owners: a) Name b) Address c) Phone Number d) Fax Number (if applicable) 9) Signature of applicant 10) Name of person who should be contacted concerning this application, including phone number.
